Our ethos has always been to ensure our students have access to cutting edge industry standard technology,  which provides them with a real world experience and helps to truly prepare them for what comes after they leave us, be it college, work or an apprenticeship.

We're entirely Mac based at BlueWhale and our learners develop their skills in one of our 2 iMac training suites. Each suite comprises of ten workstations and are mirrored with the same software, hardware and learning resources. We deliver our programmes using both Apple’s Pro Media software and Adobe’s Creative Cloud package. Having so many resources at hand means that students are able to experience a wide range of technology whilst accessing their own individual workstations helps ensure they are always engaged during their time with us.

Our recording studio is where BlueWhale began in 2001 and although recording local artists is no longer our primary line of work, our studio remains equipped with a high specification of both analogue and digital recording equipment which is utilised by students on our Music Production programmes.
